Description

The "Exhibit of Sorrows" is a popular free-to-play, short psychological horror game known for its unsettling atmosphere and creepy clown theme. In the game, the player takes on the role of a visitor to a seemingly harmless "Exhibit of Smiles" which is quickly transformed into the sinister "Exhibit of Sorrows" by a yellow-nosed clown. The primary objective is to solve point-and-click puzzles to find keys and escape. The core mechanic involves interacting with various unsettling, hand-drawn clown exhibits, such as "Mr. Floaty" and "Mr. Washy". To progress, the player is forced to make increasingly cruel decisions, essentially re-enacting the gruesome deaths of the victims whose souls are trapped within the exhibits. The game is known for its: Psychological horror: It builds dread and moral tension rather than relying on jump scares. Distinctive art style: The 2D, hand-drawn visuals were inspired by manga artist Junji Ito and the color palettes of Wes Anderson films. Multiple endings: The choices made during the short gameplay (around 5-15 minutes on average) determine the finale, offering some replayability.
